Hi there! I’m Vincent — a calm, loving pup looking for my forever family. I’m an easygoing guy who loves to snuggle, listens well, and enjoys a good routine. Once I’ve had a bit of playtime, I’m perfectly happy to stretch out on the sofa and nap the afternoon away.

I’m doing really well with my house training — no accidents lately! I’m also learning my crate manners, and with a treat or two for encouragement, I settle in nicely. I love toys (especially the ones that someone else is playing with!) and can spend ages chewing or carrying them around proudly.

Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. When I’m out, I like to stay close and check in often. I’ve met new people and been in new situations, and I take them all in stride — calm and curious, just how I like it. Loud noises still make me jump sometimes, but I recover quickly once I know everything’s okay.

I do get really excited about food — it’s my absolute favorite thing — so I’d do best in a home that gives me a little space during mealtime. Sometimes, when I’m overly excited, I might play-nip, so I’d be happiest with adults or older kids who understand gentle boundaries.

I’d fit right in with a family that’s patient, kind, and ready to give me lots of love. I’m a sweet, loyal boy who just wants to be close to my people, play with my toys, and soak up all the cuddles I can get. Could I be the one you’ve been waiting for?

Vincent came to hart as a parvo positive pup from the CATF Spay/Neuter Clinic with his sibling, Victor and had to spend weeks in medical isolation. Thankfully, both siblings full recovered and are now parvo-free! Vincent is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, and Rabies vaccinations. He has been microchipped and neutered.

When considering on adopting a parvo recovered pup, be sure to vaccinate other pets in the household that are new to the home, or that are due for their parvovirus booster.

Vincent is a calm, affectionate puppy who loves to snuggle and settles easily once his play needs are met. He enjoys chewing and can get excited around food. Vincent is a bit sensitive to loud noises and will look for reassurance, but recovers well. He’s polite with other dogs and adapts well to new situations. Routine, gentle handling, and positive reinforcement will help him continue to gain confidence.
