Yara is a gentle, affectionate girl who forms strong bonds with her people and loves being part of their daily routine. She enjoys walks, cuddling, carrying around her favorite stuffies, and celebrating every opportunity to go outside. Her sweet smile and habit of dropping a ball immediately after retrieving it never fail to make people laugh. She’s continuing to build confidence and independence as she learns that being apart from her people can be okay.

Yara was surrendered to hart due to no fault of her own. Yara is currently trialing medications to ease her anxiety which is still a work in progress. Yara is up to date on her standard antiparasitics, vaccinations (DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies), is microchipped and spayed.

A big thank you to Ozubko Realty for sponsoring our vaccinations.

Yara can become anxious when left alone and may pace, howl, or bark if separated from her people for extended periods. She has made significant progress and is currently comfortable with shorter absences, though she typically begins to struggle after a couple of hours. Adopters should expect some regression as she adjusts to a new home, and a slower transition process may help her settle successfully.
