Hi, I’m Kiwi!
I’ve got a big personality and an even bigger zest for life.
I’m a playful, high-energy girl who loves being outside and spending my days zooming around with my foster sister (and sometimes my chill foster brother, if I can convince him). Play is my favourite thing, and I need some help taking breaks. Luckily, I’m a very quick learner, so with a bit of redirection (treats, toys, or a belly rub), I can settle down nicely.
I’m crate trained, house trained, and sleep well at night. I’m also food- and toy-motivated, which makes me eager to learn new things: so far it’s “come”, “sit,” “lie down,” “nice,” and I’m working on “stay” and “go to bed.”
I love people, grown ups and kids alike! I also get along well with other dogs. In fact, I’d be happiest in a home with another playful, tolerant pup who can match my energy and keep me company. I thrive on having a buddy to wrestle, chase, and learn from.
If you’re looking for a fun, active companion who will keep you moving and your days full of love, I just might be your girl!
Could I be the missing piece of your pack?

Kiwi came to HART from our community of focus in overall good condition. Kiwi is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, and Rabies vaccinations. She has been microchipped and spayed.

Kiwi is a playful, happy young dog who’s still learning how to navigate the world. While she does well with familiar dogs, cats, and respectful kids, she shows reactive behavior toward dogs while on leash, including barking and jumping. With continued positive reinforcement and guidance, she has the potential to feel more comfortable in these situations. Kiwi settles well at home, is crate trained, and is making progress with basic cues. She’s still building confidence in new environments and will benefit from calm, consistent support. Kiwi will do best with an adopter who can support her socialization, read her body language, and help channel her adolescent energy through ongoing engagement and encouragement
