Hey there, I’m Quincy! Are you looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who brings endless joy? Well, look no further because I’m ready to be your new best friend! Even though I had a tough start, I’ve bounced back with resilience, and now I’m on the hunt for my forever family.
I’d thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where I can run around and play to my heart’s content. Another dog that matches my playful, energetic style would be amazing too! I love to wrestle and roughhouse, but I’m still learning my size, so I’d do best with dogs that can keep up with my energy. I’m great with kids and other dogs, but I’m not the biggest fan of cats.
I may have a nub for a tail, but don’t let that fool you—my enthusiasm and affection are limitless. My favorite pastime is chasing after my tennis ball. I’ve even mastered a unique trick: I won’t drop my ball until there’s another one in sight! After a good play session, there’s nothing I love more than curling up next to you for some belly rubs and snuggles.
I’m also sweet and submissive but can be a little stubborn when I want something. I love learning new tricks, especially when there’s a tasty reward waiting for me. Veggies, though? Not a fan! I’m also a little nervous in the car when it’s moving, but I don’t mind getting in.
I’d make the perfect companion for an active family who enjoys spending time outdoors. I love rough play, running around, and then chilling once I’ve had my fill of exercise. Baths? Not my favorite thing, but I’m easygoing in most other situations.

Now dogs have nine lives! Quincy may have used up one of his before coming into care. Quincy came to hart’s attention due to his extremely injured tail and it was relayed that he may have been attacked by a cougar. The damage to Quincy’s tail was extensive so he ended up having an amputation. Now all of his tail wagging is done by his nub. Quincy has healed up and is ready to wag his way into the heart’s of his furever family members. Quincy is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is neutered and microchipped.
