“Hi, I’m Ginny!

Let me start off by letting you know, if you’re a people, I love you — you humans are just the best!  I love it when you play fetch with me and when you scratch my boomboom (bum) that I’ve so conveniently stopped and placed right beside you.  Bum scritches are my fav!

I am a people pleaser, and I will do anything to make you happy-I want nothing more than to be your own personal paparazzi team!

I am such a strong girl and in the past, this has made my foster mum say that I’m difficult to walk, but I tell you, I’ve been working so hard on that ’cause I want to make her happy! She says I’m making good progress and learning not to go crazy when I see one of those wascaly wabbits…or another dog. Sometimes I lose my cool still, but I’m getting so good! I’d love if you could keep teaching me how to stay chill when I see other doggos or small critters.

I’ve met quite a few strangers, adults and kids, and I love them! If they’re a stranger at my house, I’m a little wary at first, but once I determine they aren’t a threat, I will happily request boomboom scratches.

Do you want to come meet me? I promise I’ll love you, and I hope that you’ll love me too!”

-Love Virginia

Virginia came to us as an owner surrender from one of our communities of focus. She had had a litter of puppies in October 2020. Virginia came to us in overall good health. Since being in foster care she has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date with her standard parasitics, vaccinations DACPP, Bordatella and Rabies.

Virginia is an extremely smart dog.  She is crate and house trained.  She walks well on a leash but will pull if she is interested (prey drive).  She knows all of her basic commands. Virginia is dog selective.
