Hi, I’m Vallie! If you’re looking for a cheerful, people-loving pup, I might just be your perfect match. I’m the kind of dog who could easily be a Wal-Mart greeter—I’m always wagging my tail, flashing my big doggy smile, and making new friends wherever I go. People are my favorite, and I love being as close as possible to my humans.

When I’m not soaking up all the love, you can usually find me snoozing in a sunny spot, snoring away with my tail thumping whenever someone talks to me. I’m a very chill, sweet girl who’s still opening up, so my foster family says they haven’t seen my wild side yet. For now, I’m all about cuddles, naps, and a good walk. Walks are exciting for me—I get so happy to see people, and I’ve even started to enjoy the routine! Sometimes barking dogs make me nervous, but I’m learning to build my confidence.

I’ve got a few quirks that make me extra lovable. I’m a bit of a “close talker” and don’t always respect personal space, but I’m working on it. I sleep in my crate like a champ, though my foster says it’s pretty funny how I kind of “melt” out of it in the morning. Oh, and did I mention I LOVE cheese? That’s definitely the way to my heart.

I’d be happiest in a home where I can be part of the family and get all the affection I crave. I’m good with cats, older kids, and calm dogs, but I’m not a fan of overly rambunctious pups. What I really want is someone patient who will keep helping me build my confidence and let my true personality shine.

Vallie came to hart from the CATF Spay/Neuter Clinic. She is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, and Rabies vaccinations. She has been microchipped and spayed.

Vallie is a sweet, people-loving girl who always has her tail wagging and loves to be close. Vallie is still settling into and learning that she is safe in her home, around other dogs and on leash. With time, patience, and positive reinforcement, Vallie will continue to blossom into her best, most confident self.
