Willow understands first hand how important it is to spay and neuter as he was brought into hart’s care with 4 young puppies and 1 older puppy from a previous litter. Willow and all her pups were thin and hungry. Willow had some swelling on her left knee but was treated and has since recovered from that. Willow also developed some oral papillomas, aka oral warts, that are small, benign tumors of the mouth found on lips, gums and mouth. Canine oral papillomas usually affect young dogs under the age of 2 due to their immune systems not being fully developed and leaving them more susceptible to the papilloma virus. In most cases, oral papillomas go away on their within 1-5 months as the affected dog’s immune system matures and mounts a response to the virus. Willow is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

“Hi, I’m Willow, and I was rescued by Hart along with my puppies.  I’m so grateful to the wonderful volunteers for taking such good care of me and my family, and helping us all find our furever homes!  I just love to be near my people and to be able to touch and cuddle up with you all the time.  I also  love walks, going for car rides, and food!  I’m a pretty chill girl for the most part, but I do love to get my zoomies out with a good play session in the backyard and a couple walks a day.  But for the most part, I just want a warm bed and a loving family to let me be your newest fur family member!  I’m easygoing and would be able to fit in almost anywhere.  Would you like to meet me?  Please fill out the application below and let’s make it happen!”
