Ulysses was brought into care with his mom and littermates during the cold snap last December just days after birth.  No health concerns were noted.

In February,  Ulysses and his littermates became lethargic and had diarrhea. Parvo was highly suspected and confirmed with a SNAP test upon arrival at one of our veterinary partners. Parvovirus is a particularly deadly disease in young puppies, causing gastrointestinal tract damage and dehydration. Fortunately, hart was able to provide the supportive treatments that Ulysses needed – IV fluids, antibiotics, pain medication and anti-emetics.  Ulysses is recovering well.

He will be up to date with his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.

Ulysses is a typical puppy with typical behaviours that will require lots of training and patience!  His foster mom says that he knows how to be heard when he wants something, and is the most vocal of the litter.  Ulysses would do best in a home with another dog.
