Hi there! I’m Hector, and I’m here to tell you all about myself in the hopes of finding my forever home!
I’ve got lots of energy, so I’m always up for a game of fetch or a run around the yard. But don’t worry, I also love my naps, especially if I’ve had a tasty treat!
I’m a real foodie, and I’ll do just about anything for a treat. I’m a quick learner too, especially when there’s food involved! Toys are another favorite of mine, and you’ll usually find me with one in my mouth ready for playtime.
I get along great with other dogs, though I’m still learning some of the social cues. I’m a puppy, after all, so I’m always down for some playtime! As for cats, I haven’t met any yet, but I’m sure I’d be just fine with a proper introduction.
I’m a friendly guy, and I love meeting new people. I might be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up, I’ll be your best friend! Kids are new to me, but with the right introduction, I’m sure we’d get along just fine.
I’ve already learned a few commands like sit and recall, and I’m working on being house trained. I’m also a pro at crate training! I love my crate, and it’s my safe space. I sleep through the night with zero accidents, though I might whine for a few minutes if I’m feeling lonely.
One thing you should know about me is that I’m not a fan of car rides. I get really sick, so I’m working on it with some short rides to fun places. And as for leashes, well, I’m still figuring that out. But with some treats and patience, I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it!
Overall, I think I’d thrive in a home with another pet. I love being around other dogs, so having a furry friend would be ideal for me.
If you think you’re the perfect match for me, please reach out! I can’t wait to find my forever family and shower them with love and cuddles.
Hector has no idea that he is a rescue puppy as his story begins with being born on a sofa in his foster mom’s living room. Hector is one of Halliwell’s puppies and due to hart, will only know life filled with love and comfort. Hector has received DACPP, Bordatella and is neutered and microchipped. Should an adoption be finalized before the Rabies vaccine is administered (this vaccination can be administered at 4-6 months of age) that vaccination will become the responsibility of the adoptive parent.
