I’m Fergus, and I’m on the hunt for a forever home. I’m currently staying with a fantastic young couple and their senior large breed mix in a medium activity household.
I’m a breeze when it comes to physical handling and have a medium to high energy level. What sets me apart is my love for daily walks, treats, food, people, and toys – I’m all in! I’m also pretty chill with other dogs and adapt well to new situations.
I’m almost house-trained, and while I’ve got crate training down, I’ve got a quirky talent – I can be an escape artist! But don’t worry, we’ll figure it out as I grow older.
The unique twist? You won’t find any negative behaviors with me, and I’m a true well-mannered pup. On our walks, I’m learning not to pull too much, and I’m a quick study when it comes to basic training.
But here’s the kicker: I love TV time, puzzle toys, kongs, and I’m known for some seriously adorable zoomies. I’d fit perfectly with an active family, especially one with kids and maybe even another dog. Let’s make some unforgettable memories in our forever home!
Fergus came to hart from our community of focus with his mom and littermates. Fergus was a healthy little pup when he came into care. Since being in hart’s care Fergus received DACPP, Bordatella and is neutered and microchipped. Should an adoption be finalized before the Rabies vaccine is administered (this vaccination can be administered at 4-6 months of age) that vaccination will become the responsibility of the adoptive parent.
Typical puppy behaviours. Working on his crate and house training.
