Hi, I’m Addy!
I love getting fresh air and taking in the sights for 20-30 minutes, followed by some well deserved nap time.
I’ve met a few dogs on my outtings and I am pretty easy to get along with so far. I really like to chase rabbits, birds and cats. I have not caught one yet because foster mom keeps a good grip on my leash.
Sometimes I see 2-leggeds on the walk and they’re pretty cool, but sometimes I take a bit to warm up to new people.
I would really love to find a home where I can have a well-mannered, confident, 4-legged sibling to play with.
Apply to adopt me and I’ll have my people call your people.
– Love, Addy
Addy came to hart after meeting a porcupine and she ended up on the sharp end of the introduction. Addy went straight into surgery for the removal of the quills. Adoptive parents for Addy need to be aware that while she has undergone surgery for the removal of quills, they can continue to migrate and erupt for up to a year. Addy is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.
Addy is experiencing a bit of seperation anxiety and working with her foster family who are helping her make great improvements with this. She is also working on getting comfortable in the crate.
Addy is working on basic commands such as sit and name recognition. She is good on a leash but can pull if she gets excited. Addy has moderate prey drive. It is recommended that Addy’s forever family does basic training with her.
