This cutey is finally ready for adoption. Foxy was born in care but has been under the care of one of our vet partners for an intestinal intussusception – a disorder that causes the intestines to twist and turn into one another causing discomfort and blockage, found commonly in large breeds but can also happen in smaller breeds and typically in dogs less than 3 years. Foxy ended up having surgery for the initial blockage and then required another surgery for a repeat intussusception. Foxy ended up being treated for coccidia as well. Foxy needed to have a full recovery from her surgeries and retest negative for coccidia before she could have her spay. She is now a healthy, happy girl who has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date with her vaccines DACPP, rabies and bordatella and antiparasitics.

Foxy loves to learn and is food motivated so if you have treats she is eager to please.  It can take a few minutes for her to warm up to new people and new surroundings.  Foxy has her basic commands and crate training well in hand.
