I hope to never meet another porcupine again.  I am fun loving and happy with lots of curiousity. 

Queenie came into care with a face full of porcupine quills. Her first stop was to an emergency vet for surgical removal of over 1000 quills. Shortly after that surgery, Queenie went in for her spay and while she was under, the vet removed even more quills. And then there was another vet visit for another quill erupting in and around her eye. Adoptive parents for Queenie need to be aware that while she has undergone surgeries for the removal of quills, they can continue to migrate and erupt for up to a year. Queenie is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped. 

Queenie has a high pre-drive so takes too much interest in small animals..
